Ground Control Install
I'm wondering how the threaded "tube" attaches to the strut body. Is there welding required? Also, I'm thinking about doing the GC setup with 220# front and 180# rear springs on my WRX Wagon (sticking with the stock struts). What is an approximate max spring rate for the stock struts? Any thoughts?
PS - And yes, I've read all the GC posts from the past year from alex-club and nick-club.

Actually, I'd find their website...it's bound to have a picture on there somewhere.

Sorry, I was a little off.
The perches are held on by a setscrew.
Okay, go look at this page.. http://freepages.autos.rootsweb.com/...a/gc_coilover/
Looks like the sleeve sits on a little metal collar. I would suggest putting some rubber in between like that guy did. My old skunk2 coilovers used rubber o-rings in between the sleeve and shock body. Just use one at the bottom and one at the top.. You can get all different sized o rings at a hardware store.
