FYI most sedan struts and coilovers fit the wagon.

so far, the only thing i can think off that will fit the sedan and not the wagon is the stp aluminum control arm.....other then that, anything the sedan have, the wagon's got......and yeah, the wagon is a slightly heavier, and slightly more top heavy, so you're not going to get sedan type handling numbers w/the exact same set up

There is only a 140lb difference between the wagon. Thats like one extra passenger. But the wagon does have better weight distribution...

But a set of well damped struts with stiffer springs along with at least a sedan sized rear swaybar... That should get you going right along. Heck just the sedan rear sway bar alone will put a grin on your face.

wrxwagon2b,

There are pletny of write ups for wagon suspension mods. Also check the nasioc forum. gtguy has tried many and has good write-ups.

So depends on what you want to do with the suspension mod. Do you want better handling while keeping most of the ride quality or do you want the super slammed look?

On my wagon I have the STi/SPT wagon suspension with STi top mounts and STi trailing and lateral links with full pillowballs.
The drop is small, 3/4" on my wagon and is not adjustable. The ride is firm, maybe too firm for me, but is definately not as firm as other suspension types.

You can use sedan components, but in some cases you need to make some mods to the struts and add camber bolts to achieve reasonable camber. I know without any mods, takeoff struts from UK STi sedans would not provide camber within spec.

Coilovers are good if you want to set the ride height and adjust the damping. TEIN wagon coilovers have received great reviews, but are not damping adjustable.

Good luck in your search.

front + rear swaybars + endlinks

my wagon has the spt suspension w/rear swaybar upgrade. we just put on a front whiteline swaybar and rear progress swaybar along with noltec endlinks all around. BIG difference. even my GF noticed the difference when i didn't tell her i modded the car. sorry, no autoX reveiws of them yet, but it will be skewed because cusco zero2's are going on by then(hopefully). good luck. b

I use the JIC FLT-A2s on my WRX wagon. Very firm ride but rewarding during "spirited" driving. It uses the US springs rates making it a little softer than the JDM version.

I'm using the STi Genome Wagon suspension. Very nice set up that seems to land somewhere between stock and the STi/SPT suspension in terms of stiffness.

I've got a review of it here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ght=STI+Genome
