I striped one of the bolts holding the steering rack on the driver's side. I re-threaded it and put the bolt in and it striped again. Has this ever happened to anyone and does anyone know how to fix it? And, does anyone know how to take off the front end links. There is no block washer on the other side so the bolt just keeps rotating. Thanks for the help and do you guys think the steering rack is fine being held up by three bolts....while at the track (I plan to hit the track tomorrow with fellow i-clubers at thunderhill....but this kinda throws a wrench in the works.)

 

i think the steering will be ok but u should get it fix soon. endlinks: look on the end of the bolt. you'll need an allen wrench to get them off.
