Forester 4130 chromoly subframe

heres a quick update of the subframe, top part is all tacked in and i just need to finish tig welding the joints. 2nd pic is of the tab im going to have laser cut for the mounting point by the A-arm. 3rd is a side pic. after i finish welding the joints, im going to mount it and then add some bracing in the center section and incorporate the mounting points behind the oil pan for that jacking plate hopefully.

thanks, heres the finished product, except for the tab at the end that will weld to the mount by the a-arm. that middle section was a pain. if i do it again im not going to do it like that. way too much work.

Paul i'd love for the world to know what i did to you, that way they'll all know what i have to offer!

Tonight jason came over and we added one more bar and installed the piece on his forester. i think it came out great, if i can get the tabs cut by early next week its going to get powder coated.

heres pics from tonight. one of the pics is the final piece but still missing the bracket at the bottom. Another pic is my lame attempt at paint shop to show what the final one should look like. red being tubing, and the teal color being gussets. and last but not least the piece mounted on jasons car with the factory jacking plate in place.
