Eibach Pro-Kit vs. Prodrive
I plan on replacinng the stock springs on my '02 RS2.5 with either the Eibach Pro-Kit or Prodrive. I will retain the stock struts.
What are the pro/cons of each of these other than the slight price difference ($210 vs. $280)? Thanks!

If you are sticking with stock struts, go with the Eibachs. The Prodrives will destroy the stock strut valves. The eibachs will too, but not nearly as fast. Either way, you're voiding the warranty on your struts with any modifications to springs. Not that I would let that stop me.
Where have you heard that the prodrives will 'destroy' the stock strut valves? I understand they will certainly wear out faster, but this is the first I have ever heard that they are capable of 'destroying' them...?
I will make the recommendation to go with the Prodrive springs. The eibachs (and we're talking about linear, right?) tend to lower the car a bit more, but the people I have spoken too seem to like the Prodrives over the eibachs. The springs were designed by Prodrive, (and coincidentally mfgr'd by eibach) to work with the stock struts - that's why I'm confused as to how they can destroy them
Again, they will obviously wear out faster due to the stiffer springs, but the length of time is debatable, IMO.
