Talking Eibach pro kit going on the wagon

Wife was nice enough to buy the baby some eibach springs for easter of all things. Looking to install later this week. Post pics when I get them.

Post some pics of wagons riding on eibachs if you have them...

As far as I know, Eibach makes only one spring for the wagon/sedan. Yes, the rear may sag a tad, but extra weight in the wagon is almost negligible. I read in another thread that even Tein is going to stop making the wagon-specific springs.

Fellow members- I know that she ordered the wagon version of the eibach pro-kit, and depending on where you order they state there are seperate versions for wagon/sedan. I guess that we will just have to see how they look. A week from today I will have pics up

My brother is running the wagon/eibach set-up in his wagon and he does appear to have lower issues. His stance looks good, and besides when it's a gift from the wife you don't have much room for complaint

You WILL get a larger gap at the front with the sedan springs on the wagon. I had a set on mine. Wagon has more weight in the back = sag with the sedan kit.

The weight difference is something like 80 lbs. I think people make a bigger deal out of this than needs to be. So, a sedan with a crack ***** in the trunk would be about the same...

BTW, im lowering my wagon this weekend using sedan springs (STi RA) with wagon struts (KYB GR2)... I'll let you know how it turns out. I know the Eibachs lower further, but I'm still anxious (read: worried) to find out what kinda fender gaps I'll be lookin at.

Even most springs for the sedan have a bigger gap on the front. I have whitelines and there is a gap, but i think the eibachs do a great job of leveling so good choice!

I think is has to do with the rear quarter panel going further down than the front fender. So if your fender gaps are even, then your *** is in the air a tad (which is, however, better than a saggy ***) IMO, rather than measuring fender gaps, measure from the ground to the sideskirt to determine wheter your drop is even.

Yes i have realized that, and thats why i accept the difference in wheel gap because the front fender has a higher wheel well.

I just installed the Eibach wagon kit on Friday. After a short test drive, I measured about 30mm drop all the way around, I expect them to drop a little more as they settle. I haven't driven much since then since I need an alignment. I still have more gap in the front fenderwell but I think some of that is from my Cusco top plates. My car rides a little stiffer now and while it still has some body roll, it's not nearly as much. All in all, a great mod. Not too expensive and not really that hard to do with the right tools (a big breaker bar!)
