I haven't tried Porterfields myself (although I will when I kill the stockers), but the R4S is supposed to be a great street/autox pad. I've only heard good things about them.

COBB tuning sport pads are pretty good. I've had great success with them, and they are cheaper than the crappy *** EBC's. They also grip a lot better.
