EBC Break Pads for 2004 Wrx???

Anyone with a 2004 WRX ever run EBC break pads?

The reason I ask is that I'm looking for the part number for the pads that will for sure fit my car... apparently there have been some fitment issues with the DP31200C (front redstuffs) and / or DP31293C (rear redstuffs). Looking at the pictures provided from EBC's website I can tell that these aren't the right backing plates for me

Mine look more like the COBB ones:

Front

Rear

Success!

Ok, found some info thanks to some digging and a couple of local subie club members, according to the EBC catalogue:

http://www.ebcbrakes.com/Assets/ebcusaauto06.pdf (page 122)

2.0 Turbo WRX 2003 - 2005

Front Pads
Ultimax OE Replacement Quality: D929
Greenstuff (front): DP21661
Redstuff (front): DP31661C

Rear Pads
Ultimax OE Replacement Quality: D1004
Greenstuff (rear): DP21687
Redstuff (rear): DP31687C

Looking at the diagrams for D929 and D1004, I can see that they are bang on when comparing them to my stock pads

Also found this great review on EBC by SubieGal:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...1&page=1&pp=25

Apparently as of 2004 (or sooner) the formula for EBC pads have been dramatically changed for our Subarus!

So, I'm sold, I'll be getting the redstuffs
