Driving without endlinks

Here is the short story of my problem. I drove the car around the block and notice a clunking noise. When I pulled into my drive I looked into the car and notice that my top bolts on the passenger and driver side endlinks gone! The subaru dealers by in San Diego dont care this item in stock and have to order it. Does anyone know if it is ok to drive the car without the endlinks on the car while I wait for the replacement bolts?

You can. Just take it easy.

Also, bolts are bolts. Just go to a local hardware store and pick up some bolts.

One of the bolts came off on my endlinks, and I've been driving around for a while. Nothing is really bad about it, except you may experience a lot of chassis roll and (i'm guessing it's your rears) massive understeer.

Also I don't think these bolts are just bolts. They need to be a certain hardness IIRC, and they're only 2.50 from a suby dealer of you can get them from subaruparts.com for around the same price.

One of my bolts was gone too, not sure for how long. You'll be fine, just have them order the bolts, and when you re-install them, use some Loctite Red.
