Drilled or Slotted rotors?
I wanted to upgrade my rotors to something better than stock.
I was looking at maybe getting teh Brembos sice the price is not bad at around $170 for the fronts.
Whats everyones take on drilled vs. slotted?
Are Brembos good or is it just a name?
How about Rotora?

Brembos are a great rotor. The main thing to watch out for if you are getting drilled or slotted rotors is who did the drilling and slotting. You will see cheap drilled or slotted brembos on e-bay but they were just brembo blanks that some one else did the machine work on. These rotors are not drilled or slotted corectly and eventually warp and crack.
Your best bet is to stay with a true brembo blank. Newer brake pads do not really require drilling or slotting for them to work better. The drilling and slotting actually hurts your performance because they get hotter because they have less mass to disperse the heat.

drilled rotors can warp and slotted rotors eat pads alive
if your set on it, go for a reliable brand like Brembo or DBA. You also might want to look in to dimpled rotors.
