Have had a 2006 Impreza wagon for just 11 months now and there are dark spots on the "silver"surround to the a/c controls. Have no idea what caused this, and have tried cleaner, and polisher to remove these spots without any success. Has anyone else had this problem, if so, have they a cure?

 

i had a similar problem. i bought my 05 with the original silver color with some stains or something that i couldnt remove. so i just spray painted it all black.
$6 + 1 hour
