Oh. It is properly called "Front Under Diffuser".
It is a part of CUSCO's GT Aero kit that consists of front lip, the under diffuser and the rear wing. The under diffuser cannot be bought separately, but also as a kit with either just the lip or the lip and the wing.
The whole package greatly improves aerodynamics of later model Impreza's. With the addition of the rear wing, you will get 220lbs of downforce in the rear. Not something everyone wants and every trunk can handle.
The under diffuser will not fir without the lip.
Hope this helps.

It is not a skid plate. Skid plate is designed to prevent the damage to the oil pan and other engine components from hitting crap on the road.
Did I look at the link? Yes I did. What if it said "CUSCO Cat Litter Box", hehe, would you call it that.
The name is not that important, the reason I said what it is usually called, is to explain why I did not know what he was talking about.
That peice serves an aerodynamic purpose, hense the name diffuser. Tray does not really mean much.
And, last time I spoke with CUSCO, I was told it was not available separately. Not because they will not sell it to you (you can buy anything), but because it will not work with anything BUT CUSCO's front lip.
I know I am being too picky with this ****, but I am always like that when it comes to CUSCO. That is what I do.
