Coilover perch is stuck

So I was in the middle of adjusting the height of my coilovers, and I managed to damage the thread on the shock body.

Now the perch that the spring sits on is stuck, and I have absolutely no way of setting the preload.

So my question is, can I take the coilover to a shop and have them fix it? Or would my only option be to buy a whole new rear right coilover?

These are BC Racing coilovers by the way

Thanks

Ouch. I wouldn't know. I'd call the shop and see what they thing. I am sure they could tell you what you should do.

Call BC...they are really good about selling you individual parts. I know instead of a rebuild, they will sell you a brand new damper for $100 i believe and they may jsut do that for you.

I'd imagine if they will sell you a new damper, then they would be good boys and ship it to you. The question is, would you feel comfortable taking apart the coilover (if you can) and doing it yourself?
