Cobb rear sway bar not fitting my 2005 sti - Anyone else with same problem?

I installed the cobb rear sway bar (after purchasing the P/N 913240 Cobb fr and rr sway bar kit for the 2005 STi from South Coast Subaru) I cannot get this sway bar to fit.

The bar seems to be about an inch too short.

For picts you can go here (in all picts the top of pict of towards the front of car - I laid down on my back with my feet sticking out rear):

Please give me your insight into this if you have any

They might have sent you the wrong bar. Looks like they sent you a regular wrx bar not an sti bar which is longer by an inch or so. Let them know you got the wrong bar. Similar thing happend to me but I got an sti bar from the vendor and had to send it back and get the correct one.
