cheap suspension upgrades?
i currently own a 2007 wrx with minor mods:
Catback Tanabe exhaust
catless DP
SPT intake
Heatshield for intake
I of course would like to upgrade power at some time, but currently i would like to upgrade my suspension for a little bit more sporty ride and increased chassie stiffness.
I have heard many different ways to increase suspension, but most of my friends seem to not work on a budget.
I am looking for a moderately cheap way ($500 preferably) to better my suspension
any tips would be greatly appreciated
thanks

I am tryin to find some sways and some endlinks, but as for springs i am not positive on what to get. I would love to lower my ride height a little with some springs as well, but what springs would be best for performance while not lowering my car too much? i already scrape my exhaust on those deep curbs, but with lowering my car ill have to go a little slower over those i guess to try to prevent that.

I'm in the same boat; and may have found a good deal on some new KYBAGX's, thinking Swift springs to go with them. I ran them on my old SVT, liked the price, ride, & adjust ability, have heard good things about the Swift springs...I only can do a moderate drop of 0.75-1.25".
I haven't decided on which sways/endlinks to get, definitely go for the Whiteline steering rack bushings too.

"I have a set of 2006 STI springs with 7k miles on them for $80.00."
i received this from someone else, but would simply upgrading to sti springs do much, or should i hold out for somethin better?

im lookin to upgrade suspension for daily driving as well as the occasional street race. Eventually ill take her to the track for a little fun, but im not lookin for anything super aggressive, just a little lower ride height and better suspension

As far as springs, my vote goes to Crucial Racing. And some sway bars.
off topic:
After looking at your mod list, I have to ask: do you have any engine management? Because with those engine mods, you really need a tune or off-the-shelf remap.

You mean road racing? Like track or auto-x? Are you planning to be competitive or are you just doing it for fun?
Yeah street racing is bad ummkayy.
But if you're looking for cheap but effective suspension/steering mods go with the Whiteline steering rack bushings, rear diff bushings, subframe lock bolts, lower-rear trailing arm bushings. These mods plus sways/rear endlinks you'll be pretty close to your budget and should put you where you want to be as far as handling. Over and above that, would be springs, camber bolts and ALK.
...edit
You'll be disappointed in the fact that you could've spent a little more and got a lot more out of your purchase in both looks and handling.
