So it is about time for me to replace my stock front pads. I was planning on getting some Bobcats or Porterfields and was wondering if I should replace the rear pads with the same as the front. Would my brake balance be way off if I only replaced the fronts and left the rears with the stock pads?

If you put a
grabbier pad in the front, you'll only increase the bias towards the front. If anything, with the stock brakes, I'd think about the bobcat in the rear, and the panther in the front. If you're never going to track the car, just go bobcat front and rear.

Cool. Thanks for the info all. I will prolly end up just replacing the fronts. Also will put on some stainless lines and replace the fluid too iI think.

I change the rears after they get to 50% or when 5 years old.
same with the front.
If I ever heat them up till hard fade I replace them. You loose 30-60% of the stopping after the overheat on a OEM type pad.
