camber adj bolts

I want to install camber adj bolts on the rear my 02 WRX sedan. I see they offer both 12mm and 14mm. Why do they offer two sizes, and which one do I need to order?

Oh yea, I noticed the bolts are about 50.00 a pair for MRT. Would the stock subie ones from the front work? They might be more reasonable.

the fronts are bigger
you need 14mm for the rear
they are standard alignment parts I don't see any need to buy them from an overseas source

Do you mean the fronts are smaller? 12mm vs 14mm?

I noticed JC Whitney has 'em for 19.95 per pair, and it's the same part # for front and rear. They look kind of different. Instead of a cam lobe they have a pin sticking out. Probably cheaper to make, kind of goofy if you ask me. JCW thinks the fronts and rear are the same. Hmm. I've never been super impressed with JCW quality, maybe their part numbers are off too.

I did not messure the bolts just going from memory that the front camber bolts looked much bigger than the rear one that I bought

It's for the rear of an 02 WRX sedan. If they are the same as the front I'll just try the suby dealer.

If the JCW really has a hole drilled for a pin it seems a little weak to me.

you know, I guess I could crawl under there and measure the dia at the threaded end of the bolt That would end all doubt.

You can get Eibach Camber bolts from Tire Rack for $25.00. Just ordered some last friday.

Both the front and the rear camber bolts of all Imprezas are 14mm.

Driggity, I saw the tire rack bolts, they look like the JC Whitney style. When you get them let us know if they have a cam lobe machined on them or are drilled with a pin in the side. The "pin in the side" style might be fine, I just haven't seen them except on the web.

Ok, so I go to my local suby shop, and the parts man tells me the stock bolts for the front are only 5.00 ea/10.00 per pair, suby part #20540AA090. Did the parts guy screw up? He didn't seem have a clue using bolts to adj camber. I told him the upper bolt on the strut. Maybe I screwed up.

Anyway, if they are 5.00 from the dealer, why doesn't everybody buy these instead of the ones for almost five times this much? something tells me I'm not getting the full picture here.

Hey man If they really are the same size that Is a really good find

I just found out that the stock front adj bolts don't fit any of the other holes. I think the place you recomended is Carter, Subie Gal. They're good.

This is becoming quite a search for just a few bolts, but I want to get ones that fit without grinding out the struts, and I'm not crazy about the style with the pin sticking out the side.
