WOW!
Lucky you did not lose control! This stinks!Looks like its a good idea to stay away from skunk. I also heard things like "skunk=junk", etc.
I'd say stick with STI, Prodrive, Whiteline, etc. and stay away from cheap stuff.
I'd say try to get a replacement, or perhaps get some Ground Controls...
Good luck!

Holy crap. How big was this bump?!
Man its good that you didn't crash when it happened. A spring breaking like that is very uncommon, you should try and see if you can get it replaced under warranty. If I remember correctly, Skunk2 should have a lifetime warranty on their springs. It shouldn't be to hard to show them that they haven't been tampered with in any way.
Best of luck.

that's retarded. i hope you get a full refund for that. oh yeah, this is by no means the first time i've heard of skunk2 suspension products failing. one of the recent problems was a friend's set of sleeves cross-threaded. no, he wasn't a newbie, and no, he didn't force it. they were moving like normal and the stupid thing jumped a thread and got stuck.
soft metal and crappy build quality, thy name is skunk2

The serious question is wtf were you thinking when buying skunk2 products for your high quality nice brand new subaru WRX? **** of that quality is best found on ****ty old civics that are completely worthless and it doesnt matter if the whole car burns to the ground. </rant>

That pic of your car without front suspension would look great on the cover of Lowrider magazine....
But seriously, manufacturers defect. If you had them installed somewhere, the shop probably warrantees their work for some period of time. If the shop is reputable, they will want to fix it for you. They should have to fight with Skunk, not you.
