Hmmm IMO, i don't think the problem would be solved sole by replacing with stock rotors.
having said that, you haven't described the situation enough in details to be diagnosed via the internet.
when does it squeal...all the time, every brake application, cold only, high speed stops, city cruising, etc.?
and i'm sure a bunch of other stuff someone with more knowledge could ask.
still, since you bought this used, you might consider asking someone with deeper subaru knowledge, or (even better) one of your (local) Subura shops to give your car a thorough inspection. where you at anyways--Bay, SoCal, mountains?
end of the day, it's prolly the compound of brakes you have that makes it noisy. if you want cheap brakes that are very much like standard pads, try out StopTech Street Performance pads. Like $80 for the pads, fairly quiet, decent stopping, and if you don't like the compound, it wasn't that much.
TL;DR: A. it's your compound, not the rotors. B. have someone else give your STi a full once over so you know everything that needs to be maintained/freshened so you actually can enjoy your 13-year old turbocharged car.
