Back seat mod to access adjustable shocks?
Has anyone modified their rear seat back for access to adjustable shocks? My '06 WRX has to have the seat removed before the back to get to my adjustable Konis. A royal pain. I would like to have something that looks good, and not a gaping hole
Velcro patch? I do have considerable sewing ability. I autox around 8 times a year and yanking out the back seat to play with the shocks is getting OLD. Thanks for any suggestions at all!

IDk what the **** looks like to adjust your shocks or its size (just kinda seen it in pics), but maybe the extenders made by BC racing for their coilovers would work. Then u just have a little thing sticking up on each side that isn't that bad IMO. You can get them any place that carries BC, but i recommend import image racing.

I checked those out. A good idea, but not gonna work. Konis have a very small tab that sticks up and a **** fits over it to adjust. It would be hard to attach anything to the tab. Anybody else please? I can't be the only one with this predicament.

Harvey, I have the same set up on my 2002 wrx. I've got the koni yellows. I auto x about the same amount and have to do the same thing over and over. Some of the above answers seem good, but how the koni's are set up is for you to use that little **** thing they provide. I just feel like if you can't see how many turns your making then you won't know exactly how tight or loose each of them are. I understand that you can just fully tighten them and then loosen them up with the same amount of turns, but I would rather see the actual nut. Idk I'm in the same boat!
BTW, where do you auto x at?

Yes. The yellow Konis and the ****. My son has seen a custom upholstered seat back to gain access for adjustment, but it looked really expensive. Right now, I am leaning toward only engaging the center attachment of the back. This does not seem to be a safety issue as the back is amazingly light, and is held in by the seat also. Then you can just yank the upper corners forward and stuff your hand in there. Just have to count the turns and don't drop the ****
And I will try the 5mm socket suggestion, but I still think the upper corners will have to be detached.
I autox mostly with UFO in Marina. I have also run with AAS in Atwater, Marina, Great America, and the late, great, Alameda. What a beautiful spot that was.
