I don't have any personal experiance with the ALK. I hear it's a big PIA to install.

You can get the same effect by using the MRT camber caster plates which are a hell of a lot easier to install.

I have had my ALK for about a year....I would say that it is one of the better suspension mods for the buck. everything you have said about it is correct. I have the following suspention mods and can still feel the ALK

SPT control arms
CUSCO 21mm Front Sway Bar
CUSCO 22mm Rear Sway Bar
CUSCO Type-CB Rear Strut Bar
CUSCO Zero 2 Coilovers
MRT endlinks
MRT Anti-lift kit

You might want to check out this thread on Scoobynet:

If that thread doesn't already give you more info than you ever wanted, there's plenty more if you do a search.

What does the ALK do about dive on corners when decellerating? I've seen some info say it'll make it worse, others say it improves (lessens) dive. Any experiences here?

I also am interested. By decreasing lift on acceleration are you also increasing dive on deceleration? Or are you decreasing lift on acceleration and decreasing dive on deceleration? Any input would be appreciated.

Hey Steppin Razor

You're right, the (2nd) link doesn't work, I don't know why.... or maybe it's because I copied it from the first post?? Duh...

Go up a couple of posts and try the (same) link there. That one works for me. Hopefully it'll work for you. It's worth it.

i-Club forums prevents wrapping of long .url lines by truncating what you see, but the link remains valid. There's a problem with cutting and pasting, though - it copies the literal truncated line (three dots in .url line), instead of the actual linked .url. This can be avoided by right-clicking on the link and selecting Copy shortcut from the mouse menu, then pasting into your post with a mouse right-click (Paste) or keyboard (CTRL+V).

Steppin Razor, I think if you re-read Jim Gurieff's last post from the MRT thread you'll see that he says the Anti-lift Kit actually increases front lift (and dive)! -

I have to admit that the basic conclusion is a little embarrassing when compared with the existing text of the product description. Specifically, our testing data found that the fitment of the ALK increases from (sic) lift under power while reducing understeer and delivering the positives described by customers and quantified thru extensive track testing. - Jim Gurieff
And then:

From this you can see that the product name is misleading and inappropriate. This will be changed and qualified even though it deals with the geometric concept of “anti-lift”.

After reading all that, I think I'm leaning towards the MRT camber/caster plates, now...
