Hey

Alright so I have a set of Prodrive Coilovers for the gc chassis, thus everyone knows is 5x100 knuckles etc.

I am about to swap to 5x114 and would not like to lose that same quality ride.

I contacted Prodrive, HKS and both would not make me a set or re-manufacture my brackets to work with 5x114 hubs.
Wish they were more responsive as with Prodrive USA =[

Therefore these are my current options-

-Option 1
Shave down the front knuckles 5mm each side to accommodate the 5x100 brackets on the coils, and weld the holes and on the brackets to line it up with the 5x114 knuckles.
(If you are wondering about the rears, the 5x114 and 5x100 have the same knuckle thickness and bolt hole distance)

-Option 2
Might be and would be absolute fun, I will have to dissect and recreate the prodrives with a reputable company, What is great about this is no hacking or expense would have to be spared and will most definitely be the cleanest way to go about.

The coilovers will be widely adaptable to users of 5x100 or 5x114 due to newer technology of the bottom bracket interchangeable vs old school welded on.

This might be of interest to you guys, is that in order for the company to find an interest or find it worth their cost, I would have to order a few sets.

Of course for a full set front and rear!

Let me know what you guys think, or better yet have a solution for me =D

These can be most definitely developed for GD chassis as well.
