Talking 2006 lowering springs

hi guys and girls.

im the proud owner now of my very own 06 wrx. i must say i love the car and am hooked on AWD now. i want the car to handle a bit better so i plan on lowering it. i do alot of auto X and this is also my daily driver. i like the look of the TEIN S Techs. its a nice agressive drop. but everyone on here keeps hating on them. are they really that bad?? whats a good spring to lower our cars with a nice AGRESSIVE drop yet still daily driveable.

all info greatly appriciated.

thanks,
Marcus

The s tech springs are more "show" oriented, and don't handle as well. A lot of people like Prodrive, but I'm not sure on their 2006 fitiments.

One word 'SWIFTS!'. Great ride, great drop and they also make wagon specific if you are a wagon (or a sedan with a butt load of amps in the trunk!). Go to my Vb Garage if you'd like to see them. They drop the car .8 in the front and 1.2 in the rear.

Go with the Cobbs. I got them on my 05 Sti and my wife's 06 Wrx. We like everything about them.

+1 for prodrives :P. i'm currently running prodrive springs on my '06 wagon. the '04+ version of the prodrive springs works on the '06 just fine. nice even drop, works damn well with the OE struts (not too harsh or bouncy), provides better handling and such. haven't run any other type of springs on my car, so i dunno how they'd compare in terms of ride quality.
