I think the topic says it all. I want 18s but I'm not sure as if I should also lower the car too? Would I be better off not to lower the car at all???

 

If you ask any serious Subby expert, they will all agree that 18's are too big for the subarus. 17's are a perfect fit. All tuners in Japan use 17's. Anyone who has 18's, have them for show. Nuff said.

you will be just fine.... I have 18's on mine, it is lowered with the whiteline springs, it DOES NOT RUB. 17's look too small on newer legacies.... plus, our cars are not fast, they have no need for light rims. Just pay attention to the offset of the rims, and you will be fine
