04 wrx OEM struts blown at low mileage? UPDATE FIXED!
Is it normal for 04 wrx's OEM struts to blow out at around 30K miles, especially the rear struts? I have been reading a lot on how the STI rear struts are defective but haven't seen much on the actual WRX line of the OEM struts being defective..so I am wondering if this is normal or not. My only mods on my suspension is front/rear sway bars and endlinks nothing else. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated. If I do need to replace them I might as well upgrade so to speak. I was thinking of Prodrive springs and some aftermarket struts but dunno which one to get. I want something that's more into not to stiff but then at the same time will not create any weird noises.
Thanks
Thanks

So today I tooked out my rear seats and started unbolting and retorquing all the bolts and found out the tubular (Grey Bar) and the Black T-Bar behind the rear seats were slightly loose. I retighten all the bolts I could find and BAM no more noise. I would just suggest the guys having this clunking sound to try this step before replacing anything and check those endlink bolts as well. Good Luck it worked for me.
