04 sti struts compared to 05 (are there differences?)

well i tried itanyway and the rears worked! i havent done the fronts yet because im waiting on the camber plates (posative camber when sedan struts mated with wagons) and i hope all will go well with that as well. ill keep it posted.

They '04 struts are NOT compatible with '05/'06 struts. Ths is part of the reason for the color change. As of now, the '05+ STi has struts that don't work with any other Subaru. The difference is in the shape of the flanges or "ears" at the bottom of the strut where it mounts to the hub carrier.
