i think that there was a change to the steering system 04 to 05, wondering what it was. pictures anyone?

 

The whole suspension was redesigned for the 05 thats why i bought an 05 and not an 04. People were complaining about the understeer problem that seems to plauge the 04 STi.

 

i took care of the understeer problem(alk,ajustble rear swaybar,urathane rack bushings,pink springs)but while turning in fast, im feeling the steering system rattle for a second. i remember reading somewhere that the rack was redesigned for 05 i would like to know what was changed F your 05

 

The '05 has a quicker ratio 15:1 vs. 15.2:1 and uses a metal bushing instead of the rubber.

 

05 wrx (non sti) has a different steering column and steering rack too. it just makes it a little bit tighter from the steering ive driven in a 03 wrx. but the 05 sti has a huge difference. its a little more responsive and more fun. and a shizload better suspension

 

Ga y ... I hate the rubberrrry feel my 04 wrx has .. hohoho ..
