Anybody see this? Good investment? or no because of frame damage?

It would worth it to buy just for the sake of parting it out. The transmission alone would justify 1/2 cost of the car.
Factor in the F&R Brembos, Seats, Wheels, Rear spoiler + trunk and you could potentially make a lot of the money back.

considering that he said the frame has already been straitened it could be worth it to someone.
Personally I'd never buy a car with a previously bent frame unless that rail has been completely replaced and it was not my primary car...i.e. it was for a track car.
in theory you could get a lot of those parts from other wrecked sti's for under $3k probably. less if you don't bother with the air bags and run it as a track car. So $15k for an sti track car could be worth it if you have the right skills and cash in hand.
But not worth it to me.
I'd buy it for $10k and part it out.

no way you want to run a car that has had a bent frame as a track car. the structural integrity of the frame has been severly diminished since it was bent then re straightened

But it needs a new IC and turbo? Meaning he parted them already or the damage was so severe that it b0rked those too? If the crash f'd those parts...I'm sure the engine ain't in good shape! Someone offer him 9k, sell the tranny, brakes, interior, wing, wheels, etc. You could make it back in no time.
If the engine is still okay, how much do you guys think it'll cost to swap all the STi parts over to a wagon.
I could recoup some of the cost by selling off the old wagon parts, but I doubt it'll be much.

his loss our gain my arss! hey prolly got more from insurance than he paid for it then bought it back from them for dirt cheap and now is finally trying to make cap lol either way the only two things this car is good for is A: scraped parts parts or B: show car, not ment to be drivien.

Assuming nothing is broken/bent. I would guess the labor for that complete swap would be at least $1500-2500, the wiring being the biggest biatch. New turbo, IC, perhaps clutch since dumbasses that wreck their brand new cars probably aren't nice on the clutch.
