Why the STI?

Please don't get me wrong, I am not trying to start a flame war, but rather the STI and EVO both have their pluses and minuses. What brought everybody to their decision? This is sort of an ongoing list I have been accumulating:

STI- more displacement, readily available, interior looks like you are getting what you are paying for, overall build quality, marginally less expensive, looks aggressive, ability to launch as hard as you'd like (no limiter), everyday driveability, DCCD

EVO- great warranty, takes to modding better, stiff suspension, a bit more exclusive (don't see very many on the road), shoddy interior, build quality (heard about rattles and squeaks on the interior), doesn't look as mean as the Suby, more expensive

I am assuming you can purchase an extended warranty to equalize that aspect? For those of you who have driven both any input would be appreciated? I have driven an EVO that belonged to a buddy and was impressed although he runs it pretty hard and the 2nd gear synchro was on its way out. I plan on driving an STI in the next week or so and hope this will help sort things out.
Thanks in advance for all your input.
