My suggestions:
1. Buy new seats
2. Put in a stereo system
3. Trade in the wing for something less austentacious
4. Performance mods.
In the long run youll save money.

Thats to bad that you don't like it anymore. But I get the impression you aren't going to take the suggestions above because you probably would already have at least put in a stereo. Have you looked at the new GTO what do you think of that because it doesn't seem getting out of a mustang in a suit would look any more grown up.

No it doesn't sound like the STi is the right car for you. But remember you will be giving up japanese reliability!

Not from what ive been reading. Anyone who tries to MOD this car is running into ALOT of problems.
It's not as hard as the internet community thinks it is. It's basically an all-new motor and it had a few curveballs to throw at tuners. But most of those have been hit out of the park. I can show you how to make that car run low 12s and handle like a Corvette for around $4k total. It'll be easy to drive and absolutely no reliability would be sacrificed. But, that doesn't matter if you just don't like the car. If you think it's uncomfortable stock, than you should try the GTO. Same straightline speed but a lot more comfort. Just don't chase an STi around a racetrack.

Why would I want my STi to handle like a Corvette? LOL

Because they're better than stock STis.

Sounds like you need a Dodge Hemi Magnum. Cost is around the same as an STi, but slightly lower. It's a wagon, rwd, V8, and has 340 hp. It only comes in automatic though.
