I knew there was a thread somewhere where a member had bought a scissor lift but I couldn't find it so I'm gonna ask my question. I'm thinking about getting this scissor lift http://www.superlifts.com/tmr48.html and from the picture it looks like it lifts the car up from the pinch welds. Is it safe to lift from the pinch weld becasue in threads that I have searched some people do not recommened lifting from the pinch weld if one is using anything else but the hand jack.

i hav seen peeps use the rear subrame mounts
the front i have seen the big U brace

i use the welds dont open the doors though haha

the frame rail is another point but that crushes a bit
