Rebuiding 2.5 need advice

Hey all, I am going to rebuild my EJ25. Dealer said the block was warped, head gaskets blew, so can I mill the block and then get pistons with valve reliefs in them? Also, is there a better head gasket out there that doesnt blow so much, or does any one know why they blow so often(mine has twice already). Thanks

It might be more cost effective to go with a new short block, unless you want to spend the money having a good machine shop work out the bugs with your old block.

I agree, getting a long or short block will eliminate inconsistencies from a machine mill block; unless the machine shop is pretty reputable (i.e. race engine shop).
