Rear diff Leak

I was changing my oil today and i went thru my usual visual inspection and as i walked toward the back of the car i noticed fluid on the rear diff. Upon closer inspection i noticed i was leaking fluid from the drivers rear axle, right at the diff. I was a little upset of course but i am still under warranty( as far as rear axles go). I was just wondering has anyone else had this problem. 04' Wrx 21000 miles. Mods i was not sure if this should go here or in Impreza Transmission forum. Please move if nessesary. I didn't want to cross post.

Do you have a drip, or just light seepage (dirty area from miniscule amount of oil leakage over time)?

I used synthetic at 15k miles and notices light seepage but it has never puddled and /or dripped.

^^^^ No drip noticed. Just spewed onto the diff. I took it in and they replaced the rear axle side seal. Under warranty. We will see what it looks like when i do my next oil change.
