Sounds like a good deal to me. I have one... the o3 is a solid car, no major problem recalls and the manual transmission was improved over the previous year (fixed clutch issues). Look it over for evidence of modification or hard use... that would be the only thing I'd be particularly concerned with. Take a good test drive, look for oil burning or any vibration from drive train or area of the wheels.

$12.9?

12.9 from a dealer on an 03 is VERY low. even for 45,000 miles and a few scrapes. Smells like a salvage titled vehicle to me. Dealers don't give out bargains like that for no reason.

Rule #1: If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

purchase market

right now, a new 05 should be in the high 21's low 22's. You can also get a Saab 9-2 for about this price, if you can find one (aeros are getting rare). Using standard depreciation from that point, you should expect to be in the 19's for a clean 04 with low miles, and in the 16's or 17's for an 02-03 that's very clean with low miles, and going down from there. I have seen a few listed in the 12-13K range, mostly 02's with mileage 70-90K
