Power Steering

Ok so over the past week or so I've noticed the steering on my wrx seemed a bit heavier than usual. Most noticable at low speeds (when the power steering helps out the most). Now I'm noticing a slight whirr when I turn the wheel at low speeds (like when parking) that I never heard before. Nothing has happened to the car, I did not hold the wheel at lock or anything like that. Just normal driving. The power steering fluid level is fine. So I am clueless. Only thing that has changed is that the weather has warmed up. So my only guess is air in the system or a failing pump/other component. Anyone experience anything like this or have any ideas? I think I'm going to take it to the dealer on Friday and maybe they can figure it out. Or maybe they'll tell me they "can't duplicate the problem." Who knows. Anyway any ideas? Thanks in advance!
