Installed a new power steering reservoir. Installed the proper fluid. Checked the levevl twice and its cool. My pump is now making noise. (Or I am hyper sensitive to it because of the install.) No lines are crimped, nothing is leaking.
Any other guys have a semi-noisy pump?

 

You have to bleed the air of the system. Leave the cap off the reservoir and turn the steering wheel lock to lock several times with the engine on. If you still see air bubbles or if the fluid seams foamy shut the engine off and let it sit for like 5 minutes or so and repete the procedure. This should get the air out and your pump should stop making the noise. Unless the pump is bad.
