I wanted to know how is the sound system of the '04 IMPREZA, how many speakers ? and all the info i can get....

I hate the speakers. Think they are crappy as all hell.

They distort w/ even a slight hint of bass.

Of course I didn't get the factory sub because I was already planning on upgrading.

 

I have the upgraded 7 speaker. It sucks, buy aftermarket. Same for the alarm system.

 

right now I am driving a '03 GTI and the speakers r really good for stock system, they're loud as hell and they dont distort

Yeah, aftermarket components a pair of subs and a panasonic deck was the first thing i did to my suby. I laughed out loud when I saw the factory speakers. I think the front speakers are 5 1/2 and the back were 4 1/2 if you are gonna change em out. And there isn't make sure you have enough clearance because although the Fosgate components i put in fit well, they were almost twice the width and weren't able to fasten the bottom part of the door panel back. You can't really tell unless you look at it from the bottom.....and the car has great beats!! Email if you have questions.
