a while ago i crashed my car and i have it back now and when i am just driving it just starts thumping like something is hitting the body(under it) and i can feel it thumping and when my friend drove my car he thinks its the drive shaft..... its right under the sterio i believe and i dunno would the dealership kno if it was bad or something?? and what about my warrenty i have on my car is

my cars a 05 sti and my dad sid that the drive shaft should be under the warrenty casue all my parts dont do anything to void that part.. the warrenty i have is the 10yr 100,000 mile one

 

With those mods, you have no business making a warranty claim. however, that's not the issue- your car was just in an accident, so almost certainly the problem was caused by that. That means you should have the dealer or a shop find the problem, then take it up with your insurance company.

 

well the thing is i didnt go through the insurance company i just paid it out of my pocket.....

 

what kind of accident was it? i'm guessing font end damage. please give alittle more info to help pin point the problem. possibly the shop forgot to connect something. was the repairs done recently or a while ago?

 

Well who did you pay to do the repairs? You might have a shop that did not work on the car to repair the accident find the problem, then take the car back to the original repair shop and make them fix the problem. NO WARRANTY CLAIM. Your accident was not caused by a manufacturer defect and Subaru should not pay the bill.

 

well it was my under body damage and a axcel when i got the car it was all fine and dandy then just recently it started to make the noise i got it done at autobody usa
