hahaha..naw, it was just a blown head-gasket.. Still sucks, but compared to the luck I've had with the Dodge, this was small potatoes.
I found this SUPER-KLEEN 98' impreza RS through my work, and took home last Fri.. Saturday morning I took it up on Woodside Rd. (HWY 82..?? i think) to run it through it's paces...It handled aLOT better than the SRT4 ever did, even after I had installed the strut bar. The swithbacks and turns were much quicker, and even though it's a 98', it pretty much clowned on the Dodge's (03')cornering..
I drove it to work all week since then, still thrilled about this bone-stock, blank-canvas type car I came up on, when COOLANT started hitting the drivers' side of my windshield..!!!
So yeah, that sucks,.. Someone had traded the car in just in time.. The former owner no doubt knew if something was sounding different, and just got rid of the car.. But if a new head gasket is all it needed, then I'll be back on the road by Monday..

Needless to say, I've got some big plans for the car once I get the SRT4 sold.. (Just so I can throw 100% of $ into ONE car, in stead of TWO!! BECAUSE TWO IS F'N KILLING ME OUT HERE IN THE BAY 'AREA.") Anyway, hopefully I'll get to show the car off soon.. tillthen, L8.
