Might sell WRX... need LOTS of input
I bought a SALVAGE titled wrx back in 2003. I had her fixed up and she's all good now. since school is getting expensive and my job isnt paying much, ive been considering selling my car (chances are, im most definetely not... just curious). well, the condition when i got it, the car was pretty banged up. front hit a poll and the bumper, 1 headlight, radiator and ac condensor was damaged (luckily, it didnt damage the engine.... it almost pushed all the way to the pulley). there was also a lot of curbing on 1 side of the car on the rims. it took me about six months to fix the car because i wanted to replace everything just in case.
ever since late 2003, ive been driving her without any problems besides a cel which i fixed from the turbo back. plus, it turned out that maybe the car hit a curb from the accident because the back right wheel has about .75 degreee too much positive camber (compared to factory specs) that i havent fixed yet..... alignment shop at firestone said the couldnt correct it.
i have
borla hush cat back
hks dp
hks up pipe
K&N drop in filter
CF interior trim
Red interior lights
performance gauge pack from subaru
Legacy GT shift ****
armrest extension
Compustar Auto start with alarm
front/rear strut bars
Helix rear sway bar
helix rear endlinks
Cobb AP
CF hood
Blacked out headlights
Rota Tarmacs
Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S tires
whiteline steering rack bushings
about 3 months ago, i brought my car to Subaru and asked the service manager if he could do a fucll checkup on the car and (he was nice enough to do it for free) about 30 minutes later, he said all was good except for the alignment.
originally, i planned on keeping the car till it died on me and never intended on selling her.
lets just say..... worst case scenario, i cant get a loan this year and i have to sell my car...... how much would it be worth. i was thinkign with all the parts on it and almost 22k miles on it, it would be worth about $14500-$15000.... now, thats just my opinion based on what parts i have on it, subaru guys analysis, and depreciation.
can you guys give me some input???? just some realistic prices please.
PS..... I AM AWARE SALAVGED TITLE CARS ARENT TRUST WORthy and no one wants to buy one. thats why i didnt buy one that was already built. i wanted to build it up myself.

whoops again.... i travel about 6 round trips from upstate new york down to the city which accumulate to about 5400 miles a year since late 2003 till now. had the car since 4300 miles.
not even close to 15K
don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but a safe ballpark figure for a salvage car is 1/2 what it would be w/o the salvage title. Your car is probably 16-17K private party w/o salvage title. Better keep it. Mods, unfortunately, add little to no value to a car, they really don't. The only way to get money for mods is to part them out and sell the car stock.

part out the mods, then sell the car. I would be amazed if someone paid you $15k+ for a salvage titled vehicle. You should be looking to get $10k most likely.
