Looking for a Bugeye.

I am trying to find a nice used bugeye WRX but the question I have is mainly about their realiability. I have only $5,000 to work with, so I am going to have to finance through a dealer. I'm worried that that I'll end up with a car that's going to start needing a lot of maintainance while I'm still making payments on it. What do you guys think?

I bought mine used and I have had no problems with it. It has 82,000 miles on it with many more to come. A $5,000 down payment is great start and will give you some bargaining power so you are in good shape financially. Look the car over thoroughly and see how it drives, if you have doubts then find a different one.

You should try to look for a 02-03 WRX with low mileage
and in great shape. The 02-03 WRX's are very reliable and
dependable as long as you keep up with your proper maintenance
like your 30K mile services and your 3K mile/3 month oil changes
your WRX will last for a long time to come. With 5K down you are in
great shape financially I agree.Just test drive until you find the right
one. Here are some places you can start looking.
