Impreza Manual(s)?

Hi, new poster here.... What are you all using for manuals? There doesn't seem to be a Chiltons for this car ('99 Impreza RS2.5) and they are only marginally useful anyways.... If I can get some advice as to where to find manuals, that'd be good too.....

My son and I have some CEL's to fix and it's kinda tough not knowing what is where!

Thx.... Dan

I use the Subaru factory manuals. You can usually find the CD "copies" on ebay.

CEL codes are pretty standardized, so if you've pulled the code, a google search may give you the answers you need. If it's knowing what parts are what, then the manual CD is definitely your best bet.

Ok, thanks, Egan. So basically no 'paper' manuals for this car?

Dan

I use the CD one off of eBay and its saved me many times. I actually just copied everything from the CD onto my laptop for faster access (sice I aleways know where it is when I dont need it, but not when I do). The CDs are $20 or so off of eBay and are the actual factory service manuals in PDF format.
