Whats up everyone. I have a few questions about a project I was offered to do through my buddy's shop.

I don't know if any of you are framiliar with the company B-Spec, but back in the day they did the project I am thinking of attempting which is taking an older Impreza L (like 1993-1996) and swapping the motor for WRX and STi parts. I like the idea of the project because I am tired of the Honda scene, and being in the scene I have learned mainly about inline four motors built on NA applications... so I know jack about turbos as well as the boxer motor... but I want to learn. The tech at my friend's shop is promising me around 450whp, but he wants to keep the tranny auto for durability issues. I'm not too excited about auto.....

Any advice you could give me would be great. I mainly am interested in the difference between the 2.5 RS vs. the Impreza L. Such as suspension, wheel offset, 4WD differences, and things along those lines because the body and suspension parts will be matched up as if it were a 2.5 RS...
