Hear Anything new for the Upcoming 05 STI??
Hey dudes and duddettes...I was just wondering if you guys have heard anything different for the 05's from the 04's.. I haven't read or heard any changes for them yet.. so i'm hopin u guys will. You see my cousin was going to get a 04 rex.. but is now waiting for 05 STI after he has more money.. All ur info inputed is awesome!!! Thanks guys :banana: <--- I think that looks kkewl

I heard that there will be very minor changes, like the 02 to 03. where they added a lit ignition ring to help you find the hole...er I mean slot...the rumor buzzing around here is that the 05 STi may get a carbon fiber rear wing (04's move up and down during high speeds) like that damed EVO. Also look for heated seats as an option on the STi. That I doubt because of the weight saving that Subaru wants for the STi. Look for posibly HID's on the WRX.

i've been drilling our distributor for weeks. . . they don't even know yet on the o5's... unless they are instructed (to say so). all i know is we ordered 60 cars and none of them were 05
my assumption and i clearly say ASSUMPTION... is- they are waiting for the results on the 4500 sti sales to determine what the next direction will be in terms of distribution for the U.s. . . I'm hoping this time around that they will actually include some basic amnemities this time around.

I have a deposit on an 05 STI. I have an 00 Integra Type R. I have been in contact with my dealer who tells me that the 05's should start arriving late April early May. The later the better because I am still trying to sell my ITR. As far as options, I don't know they cannot even give me an 05 brochure yet. My dealer is in contact with someone. They called yesterday and was asking me what color wheels I wanted for it and options I wanted. I just told them Silver/Silver and any options I would let them know when I do more research.

just ordered some 05's for our dealership- there is a new color coming out for the wrx's sti's - "crystal grey" - other than that i don't see anything major- subaru will be focusing on major launches for their forester/baja/legacy turbos-- legacy makin 250 hp! oh, and their outback

So there are only 4500 STi in the US? And is late April early May accurate on the 05 delivery?

BTW- here in hawaii we have a distributor separate from SOA. our distributor gets the cars directly to hawaii via our ports. makes sense rather than shipping to continental u.s. then back to hawaii-esp. if its from japan!
