Front differential wet?
Hey guys,
I had my car up on a rack this week having an exhaust put on and I noticed my front differential casing is a little wet (trans fluid). It appears that the axels are a little wet also.
Could this be bad seals?
Is this something I should bring to Subaru for replacement under warranty?
Will my exhuat cause them to void my warranty and deny the service?
The car has 23k miles on it and has an uppipe, downpipe, and cat-back.

What do you mean front differential casing? Where exactly is it leaking from?
Tranny warranty is a touchy subject for Subaru, so good luck. Depends on the dealer.

Modified exhaust is no reason to deny a warranty on leaky seals. However, int he US, they can't legally touch a non-emissions compliant part. Meaning, you have to put your stock exhaust back on even if they're willing to warranty the leaks.

yeahm, the only way they can "void" your warranty is if they can prove that the mods were the cause of the problem. I dont think youll have a problem here
