My 2000 RS is at 84k miles and with my new job I can afford to get a new car. Sadly, as I love my car so very much especially with its AGX adjustables + Eibach setup.

Anyhow... I want something with a built-in roof rack since I ski and bike quite often, and something that is more "utility" than a trunk. I have been inching towards a Forester XT (maybe the Sports model 'cause the '08 looks much sportier) but the '07 WRX doesn't sound that bad either. I know I want something larger than the '08 5-door, so no need to go there.

Assumptions:
-WRX would probably handle better...?
-Forester would probably be faster...?
-They are about the same length because I think they share the same chassis...?
-Cargo area doesn't really matter but they are probably comparable...?

Thoughts?

BTW, Sports does not come with a roof rack.
