springs are pretty easy and anyone can give you a walk-through
wait for one of these to come out for the 2006 wrx:

a few different people put them out, but they each contain the same info, which is the factory service manuals in PDF format on one cd...very helpful. If you want, I can tell you how to do springs too....fairly easy

That does appear to be what you are looking for. Hell, I should probably order one of those too, but maybe I can find it somewhere free online. I know this is cheap, but I don't wana pay 15+ $ for a pdf. Does anyone want to chip in and we can all share it / distribute it free? lol

Nope, there is an owners manual and then there is a specs, service, warranty manual. It might be in there. I could be wrong, but I am just trying to help.

I've found and purchased manuals from eBay before. I've also purchased a short-term (a few days) subscription from Subaru.com at a .url noted in the linked thread above to download the .pdf versions.
Even though the price online has gone up $34.95 for a 72-hour subscription from what Subaru used to charge, it's still a lot cheaper than the hard copy set of 8 or 9 large books that makes up the entire set for any model year Impreza, which runs more than $200 (I bought a set for my '02 WRX because I like to have the hard copies handy). Subaru.com also contains the latest revisions so you know that the info is the same that the factory techs are using.
