Exhaust leak

I think I may have answered your question earlier on the "other" subaru website . Anyway, if that wasn't you, 30,000 sounds awful early to be blowing exhaust gaskets. I just replaced one of mine for like $2 from Napa, however, I'd get a OE Subaru one for the best quality. Do you see black trails coming off your exhaust flanges, what makes you suspect gasket leakage (besides the sound)?

LOL, geez, I'd say your either due a gasket, you need tighten the exhaust bolts down, or both. Nonetheless, I'm glad you found your problem.
