Thumbs up Cobb Tuning Kicks A$$!

I just wanted to take a quick moment to give props to Cobb Tuning for their excellent customer service. Here is a very brief version of what could have very easily been a nightmareish experience:

About a week ago, after following the pdf instructions for the Accessport upgrade for my05 wrx, my ecu freaked out. Cobb said that this wasn't standard. They gave me a repair number and had me send in the whole package (ecu, accessport, and digiport connection cable) so they could do a diagnostic check. I was concerned to say the least, as we all know the ecu is not a cheap part to replace.

After some diagnostic checks, Cobb realized my ecu was toast, and had to be replaced. Cobb never blamed me for the failure of the ecu or accessport or tried to get out of their responsibility to the customer. They never accused me of screwing up the ecu or accessport, they took me at my word. Not only did Cobb replace my ecu, and remap my accessport, but they sent it to me next day air! Everyone I spoke with at Cobb was very helpful, professional, and friendly. I had heard about Cobb's excellent customer service and part quality before, but experiencing first hand their care for their product, and for individual tuners was more than enough for me to want to throw a little free advertising their way to my fellow car tuners.

Props to Cobb Tuning for standing by their product and standing by the people who buy their products. If you buy Cobb, you have proof through my testamony that you've bought quality.

I've got Cobb Stage 2 as well but for the STi. It pinged heavily until the Cali Maps came out and now all my problems are gone. I love it. It's awesome and being able to have other features for it aside from just a one time tune is great.
