Cobb sf intake?

Hey all, I'm considering the Cobb sf intake for my 03 WRX. I'm wondering if there are any known hp/tq increases from a stock box to the sf intake or any other pluses from it. Currently running a stage 2 OTS map from cobb, and from what the reps from Cobb have told me I will have a 30+ hp gain just from the sf intake. I'm already pushing 305 to the wheels, and honestly I don't want too much more power and stress on my tranny. Thanks!

Jared

I have the Cobb intake with the box myself. I love it. But its nothing significant with the Cobb maps they're set very conservative. I could tell a difference with response of my car, and that cool WOOOSHH sound of the BPV. But thats about it...nothing crazy

I doubt it would give you a 30hp increase and how are you making 305 whp with a stage 2 set up? E85?

Thanks for the info, I'm not running e85, but my AP calibrates a dyno for me when I turn on that feature (I'm sure you all know about it). It could be off. I was skeptical about such a high hp increase and thought a rep from Cobb was trying to pull a fast one on me. They must work on commission haha

I didnt notice much of a difference when I had my spt short ram. Most tuners will reccomend sticking with a stock airbox unless you are upgrading your turbo.
